What Is Our Warranty?

We take pride in the quality of the products and service that we deliver to our customers. We are so confident in our products that we’re willing to offer a 10 year warranty on our shutters.

Our guarantee is simple. We will replace or repair, at our expense, shutters with manufacturing defects.

From time to time our shutters can be delivered to you with faults that have slipped through our quality assurance process.

If you find a fault, we require you to contact us as soon as possible via email (info@shuttersdept.com.au) with photos of your shutters and any explanations of the problem to can give us and we will do everything necessary to rectify the problem.

What’s not covered

Our guarantee does not cover the following:

  • The expected behaviours listed here
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Misuse or abuse
  • Accidental damage and insurable events
  • Overexposure to moisture
  • Use of abrasive cleaning products
  • Incorrect installation

Cosmetic Defects

Defects can be functional or cosmetic. We define cosmetic defects as follows: “If a defect is visible with the naked eye in natural daylight at a distance of 1.2 metres, it is not acceptable. If a defect is not visible with the naked eye in natural daylight at a distance of 1.2 metres, it is acceptable.”
