Quick Measuring For Instant Quote

For the purposes of getting a quote and recommendation for your shutter, it’s not crucial to have precise measurements of your window. Approximate measurements will be fine for receiving a figure for the cost of shutters and what type of framing options suit your window.

To get your approximate measurements we recommend getting a metal measuring tape, paper and a pen to record your measurements.

We do not recommend using a fabric measuring tape as the slack in the tape will make it inaccurate to measure width and height properly.

If you have a recess, measure the width (left to right) and height (bottom to top) of the inside of the window.

If you don’t have a recess or you’re not sure if you have a recess, measure the width and height of the window from the edges of your architrave (if you have one) bottom to top and left to right including the architrave.

Once you’re finalising your order it's essential to have the correct measurements (including recess measurements) as each shutter we produce is custom made and unique to your window. If the measurements are not exact then your shutter will not fit your window. Once you've placed an order, we will always call you before submitting for manufacture.
